About me

  • Breastfeeding isn’t just about milk, it’s about love.

    — Karolina Ochoa

  • I’m a Mother-Baby Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with nearly a decade of experience in working with newborns and breastfeeding families. I’m a wife to the most wonderful man in the world and a mother of two beautiful boys – Alex and Oscar. Both taught me lasting lessons about mothering through breastfeeding.

Coming home with a new baby can be exhausting and overwhelming even for the most seasoned parents, especially if you’re experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding. Throughout the years I have assisted and helped many new parents as they make the tender transition into family life. I feel very privileged when I’m invited to someone’s home; because I know this is the most treasured time in parents’ lives. It’s a time when, along with the inevitable insecurities and the sleepless nights, mothers and fathers experience the greatest joy of their lives. I am here to support you every step of the way.

I have both in-patient and outpatient experience as a Lactation Consultant at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital and Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in Glendora, CA. I offer in-home consultations for families in the Inland Empire and Orange County, and specialize in low milk supply, tethered oral tissues (tongue-tie), pain during breastfeeding, breastfeeding after breast and nipple surgeries, relactation/induced lactation, exclusive pumping and feeding aversions (both breast and bottle).

Karolina is amazing! She is very helpful and knowledgeable. She will go out of her way to make sure you and your baby have the skills and education you need to be successful in your breastfeeding journey. What’s most important to me is that she’s supportive to ALL forms of breastfeeding. Highly recommend Karolina!
